I'm a great believer in the idea of "Where there is a will, there is a way". There are countless of people who have overcome some serious hardship - from extreme poverty to life - changing traumatic experiences - and I believe that if they can get through it, then any of us can get over our relatively smaller challenges. These points highlighted below will help you break free:
1. Set Your Priorities, Make Your Choices
Breaking free from what's stopping you from making your dreams a reality largely comes down to your priorities and choices. A willingness to do what you truly feel in your heart no matter how scary it might feel will go a long way. Pair your priorities and choices with knowledge, strategy, and execution and you're on the right track.
2. Make Good Use of Your Time
Our generation is a busy generation, we always say we are busy but the truth is, we are busy doing nothing! Time awaits no man, stop wasting valuable time, limit the time you spend on things that do not add value to your life. Time is precious, you'll never get it back if wasted, once it's gone, it's gone, so make good use of your time.
3. Spend Wisely
Do not buy because it entices you, only buy what you actually need. There's a huge difference between wants and needs, focus on your needs instead of your wants, that way, you will be able to spend wisely.
4. Break Free From "Family Decision" For Your Life
You have only one life, why will you allow others to decide for you? It is good to listen to counsel, but you must be the decision maker! This is your life remember? As long as you are doing the right thing, you need to stand firm in your decision. The family shouldn't be a burden, they're supposed to be our loved ones, your support network, and your responsibility. If you sat down with them, explain your plan, there would be more understanding than you think.
5. Take God Along With You
Always put God first in everything you do. Doing this will help you more than you think.
