It was a bloody Sunday in Anambra State, yesterday, as unidentified gunmen invaded St Philip’s Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the state, killing no fewer than 35 worshippers and injuring scores of others now receiving treatment in different hospitals in the state.
Shortly after the attack, the Internet was left buzzing as different personality including the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari took turn to condemn the act. Many blamed the incident on Terrorist group(s) that has caused alot of damage in the country already while others believed it is an attack by a group of people called the "Fulani Herdsmen".
An unverified news has surface on Twitter about the Sunday Massacre in Ozubulu, Anambra State, Nigeria. A Twitter user, CBN Gov Akinsola Ak with the handle @cbngov_akin1 explain how the massacre was caused by two brothers.
