Fast-rising Nigerian gospel musician, Lwazi Khuzwayo releases a new single titled Jesus I Love You based on 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away and the new has come”.
He co-wrote the song with his friend Lindokuhle Moloi,
“It was after intense worship at our church and a friend of mine, Zwe Kunene, started playing a chord progression along with a melody. At that moment God laid a melody and words in my heart”.
He only saw Zwe after two months and was so happy to know that Zwe had not forgotten what he was playing on that beautiful day.
“We all agreed in the room that this is a song that needs to be heard by people”, he adds.
He shares that seeing the vision of the song come to life was his favourite part about working on the song.
