In Maudlyn's own words, "EDIFY was birthed through divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit, who led me to Psalms 24:6, which declares, 'This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob.' Subsequently, the songs in the EP came to life," shared Maudlyn.
