Nigerian-American gospel artist Onome Ovwori, also known as Mr. O, is thrilled to announce the release of his highly anticipated new single, Osivwi (My Redeemer), featuring celebrated gospel minister Tomi Favored. Set for release on Friday, November 22nd, Osivwi will be available for streaming on all major platforms in both audio and video formats.
Osivwi, an Urhobo word meaning “My Redeemer,” draws inspiration from Galatians 3:13, where Apostle Paul speaks of Christ redeeming us from the curse of the law. With rich cultural influences from the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, the song celebrates Jesus as the ultimate Redeemer, embracing His role in lifting us from bondage to freedom.
The song’s powerful live recording took place at the B.O.W. (Bethel Outreach Worship) Conference in Agape House, Roselle, New Jersey, and captures the spirit-filled worship and anointed praise of the event. Onome Ovwori shared his gratitude for the collaboration with Minister Tomi Favored, saying, “It was such an honor to have Minister Tomi Favored on the song. The interpretation, style, delivery, grace, and anointing she brought was beyond what I could have imagined.”
This heartfelt anthem is designed to uplift, inspire, and connect listeners with the redeeming power of Christ. Onome Ovwori’s collaboration with Tomi Favored promises to resonate deeply with worshipers around the world, delivering a message of hope, faith, and redemption.
