Talented Nigerian Gospel music minister, songwriter, composer and vocal coach Lucky Osagie releases a brand new single titled “On The Cross” produced by Marvick Soundbox.
According to him, I got this song about a year ago while reflecting on the intense love of God towards Me.
On that faithful day, having returned from Church service on a Sunday, reflecting so deeply on where I was before I got born again. Suddenly there was a spark in my spirit that gave birth to the song,
The song talked about how Jesus died for me on the Cross, and I felt I didn’t deserve his love
He gave it to me free of charge.
However, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross was the last offering of the “Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). The death of Jesus was significant because His death did not just cover sin, it redeemed sin. Those who trust in the LORD Jesus Christ as their saviour are redeemed or bought out of sin because Jesus paid the full price for sin and offered God’s grace to whoever believes.
The death of Jesus was significant because only that death was the complete and final, once for all sacrifice for the sins of the world. “And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all” (Hebrews 10:10).
I hereby encourage everyone to keep their eyes on Jesus and his finished work on the cross.
