Upcoming independent artiste KaDarrius Campbell aka Crushun releases his single “Joy in my soul”.
KaDarrius Campbell was born in Oxford, Mississippi, but was raised in Waldorf, Maryland (DMV Area). He believes in the freedom of Christ, a freedom that if exercised properly can bring the message of the cross to all.
His love for music started in his adolescence. He would hear my Grandma from Mississippi always talk about Sam Cooke and the Soul Stirrers. The first time I heard Sam sing “Nearer My God to Thee” live, it dawned on him that music is a gateway to the soul.
His love for older music grew, and at times he felt out of place with other kids, but that would not stop him from listening to it.
As an upcoming artist he wants the world to feel what he experienced as a child; music that reaches the soul. It is an honor to be a Christian artist, and also to spread God’s love through my music.
