Ada Menakaya has been thrilling audiences and ministering to congregations for over two decades.
Growing up in Enugu State, as the third of six children, she lived in a house filled with music and love. Her mother was a community church music lead, and Ada listened to everything from Gospel legends Cece Winans, and the Clark Sisters to Shirley Caesar and pop/R&B queen Whitney Houston. Those different styles of music, as well as a strong presence in the church, helped to shape Ada Menakaya as a singer as well as a person.
Ada Menakaya has performed on the same stage with some of the most prominent voices in Gospel, Her biggest dream is to authentically impact lives and people of all ethnicities and generations with her music even much more than the Gospel music greats have done so far; she’s also believing God to use her to open more doors for people to enter the kingdom of God. She wants to use her songs to touch lives as ministering is more heartwarming to her.
